its advocacy program through meetings, collaboration and coordination with
different organizations, media and other stakeholders. It includes
policy-making bodies at the central level to opinion leaders at community
level and even the private sector to sensitized people at all tiers towards
smooth implementation of different interventions. The advocacy program of
BEES gives priority to child and general health, nutrition, safe water &
sanitation, safe motherhood, monitoring of growth and BMI, demonstration of
cooking & home gardening, counseling & communication, enhancement of use of
contraceptive methods, RTI/STD management (including prevention of

related adolescent reproductive health initiatives, qualitative health and
related behavioral research, gender-based violence as well as male
participation in reproductive rights, gender equity, child abuse, child
labor, child rights, legal aid services, social assistance for tribal
population, etc. under different development programs.

presentations in a participatory manner targeting different categories
including government and non-govt. stakeholders, officials from concerned
ministries/departments, community leaders, journalists from different
medias, representatives from UN bodies, national and external support
agencies etc. Different advocacy material packages are developed and
distributed to support the main programs which are ultimately contributing
to the nation towards reaching the unreached.
Each of the activities aims at bringing a new and bold approach to overcome
the obstacles towards achieving a malnutrition and HIV/AIDS free Bangladesh
